WHEN DID THE PROGRAMME START?
The Learning Design Bootcamp Call went out in November 2019. Six teams were selected from the following universities:

- University College London
- University of Exeter
- St George’s, University of London
- Aberystwyth University
- Keele University and
- University of Surrey
The programme started in March 2020 just before the Covid-19 lock down and ended in July 2020. All the activities of the Bootcamp were delivered online. The teams were supported by mentors in the design and development of their modules following the CoDesigns Learning Design Framework.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE BOOTCAMP 2020?
The Learning Design team from The Open University will be in charge of managing the Bootcamp 2021 under the direction of Dr Maria Toro-Troconis – Bootcamp Founder and Director.
The Bootcamp Committee is planning to open the Call for proposals for 2021 by the end of the year. It is likely the launch of the Bootcamp at the beginning of 2021 will be online as well as the mentoring. We hope to be able to host the final meeting face to face in July 2021.
